She's a good teacher! Is it possible if you could do a video regarding base of support for a pregnant lady where there is a scenario when the individual loses stability, please?
Therapist interrupts her a lot and speaks for her when she is trying to describe her pain and concerns during the first few mins of the video. At times it is difficult to hear what the lady is saying to the therapist since they are standing facing away from the camera.
Thank you very much! You help me a lot in my class. I used some of your examples and they worked amazingly. My students understood the center of gravity clearly!
I think the idea is that you watch it and then write SOAP note based on what you see... Come back to this video once you are happy about how to write SOAP notes and use it to practice!
Does everyone see her own posture is 'perched?" This is GREAT, I mean at least, identifying that COG/COM is important. Wait, she's practicing football now.. lol BUT LOL OMG she just used the word perched. To the teacher: your hips are wide. you have a very easy way to perch for 20-40 years without knowing u were doing something wrong.
Hi Carol. I try to calculate the center of gravity height of the car. I raise up the front of the car to calculate the center of gravity height; and then I do again, this time I raise up the back of the car to calculate the center of gravity height, I raise up same height but I got the different answer of center of gravity height. Do you know why? Should I need to raise up the lighter side of the car to calculate the center of gravity height?
Hi Carol, I want to share your video with my pilates students via your link. Are you ok if I share this?
The treatment is presented in SOAP format. Great Job!!!!
This was exactly what I was looking for so I could practice a SOAP note, thank you!
You are so amazing! You explained this topic in simple terms with lots of applications. 👏
I am confused. did she basically say she pulled her pectoralis muscle but the OTA was telling her to use it and stretch it?

Have you ever researched Taichi? The methods of training in Taichi teach you everything you'd want to grasp about balance and center of gravity.

That is exactly what it is for.
I think she meant to say line of gravity between her feet, not centre of gravity. yeah?
